This position requires the operation of a Company Vehicle or a Personal Vehicle, and such operation is done consistently more than 20% of the average work week. If selected for this position, the company will run a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report. A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report.Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key AccountabilitiesInspects and counts all rental equipment for damage when it comes back from a customer. Reports any damage according to established procedure. Under the guidance of the supervisor, trains and supports junior level associates.Removes dirt, concrete, or other debris from rental equipment.Ensures all rental equipment is in good, usable condition before it goes out to the customer.Lubricates all tools, equipment, and tilt-up braces to specifications before delivery to ensure safe and efficient operation.Prepares and stages rental orders and consumable items to go out for delivery.Follows all established Impact safety policies and procedures.Cleans rental area and equipment on a regular basis.Loads and unloads rental equipment and supplies onto and off delivery trucks safely.Take pictures of all outgoing and incoming loads of equipment.Perform other duties as assigned by the manager to lead other associates in the above procedures.Nature and ScopeRefers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.None.Work EnvironmentTypically located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment that may be heavy (50+ pounds) or awkward.Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.Education and ExperienceHS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required.
