Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

We are currently looking for a Fund Accounting Manager to join our team. This Fund Accounting Manager will report to a VP/Controller.

Background and Experience Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess 7 to 10 years of accounting and auditing experience, including the following:

• Demonstrated experience in supervising and mentoring professional staff.
• Proficiency in GAAP financial reporting, with a preference for experience related to investment companies and fund-of-funds.
• Competence in using general ledger accounting systems, such as Sage Intacct.
• Experience as a liaison with external auditors.
• The ability to plan and execute financial statement audits.

Summary of Position Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and monitoring the daily operations of the accounting team, with a specific focus on the Company's investment funds. This includes establishing and regularly reviewing the Company's accounting policies and procedures.
• Maintaining and improving internal controls and procedures.
• Ensuring the production of timely and accurate financial reports and information.
• Collaborating with the Company's external accounting firm during the year-end audit and conducting a thorough review of audit reports before final issuance.
• Responding to various investor requests for reports and information.
• Providing mentorship and fostering the development of the Company's accounting staff.
