Maintenance Manager Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified and reliable Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance department. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, repair, and upkeep of our company's facilities. Your key duties will include maintaining machinery, planning repair activities, and developing maintenance procedures.

Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations.
2. Track expenses and manage the maintenance budget.
3. Ensure that all machinery is maintained and operating to required standards.
4. Create and implement effective maintenance procedures.
5. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues.
6. Plan and manage repair and installation activities.
7. Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures across the department.
8. Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.
9. Document daily progress and maintain accurate maintenance logs.
10. Oversee inventory of equipment and supplies, and place orders as needed.

Maintenance Manager Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
2. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facility Management, or a related field.
3. Minimum of 5 years' experience in maintenance.
4. Previous managerial experience is a plus.
5. Strong understanding of PLCs, encoders, sensors, electrical systems, welding, and machining.
6. In-depth knowledge of facilities machinery and equipment.
7. Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
