JR 4929 - Site Manager

Location: Los Angeles, CA 90004

Salary: $28.07 to $35.09 per hour

Pay Frequency: 24 Pay Periods Per Year

Full Time, Non Exempt, Driving Required

Note: The lower pay range applies to candidates with minimal experience; the higher range for seasoned professionals.

Role Overview

The Site Manager oversees all on-site operations, including rent collection, tenant relations, vendor scheduling, occupancy reporting, financial management, regulatory compliance, and building maintenance. The role involves collaboration with on-site teams and external agencies to provide quality affordable housing. Some positions may require on-site residency under a Housing Agreement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage occupancy and tenant relations, including interviews, move-ins, and enforcing house rules.
  • Develop emergency response plans and communicate effectively with tenants.
  • Coordinate service delivery, maintain records, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee maintenance, safety, and community events.
  • Monitor financial health, prepare budgets, and manage cash flow.
  • Handle tenant management tasks, including notices and evictions.
  • Uphold diversity, equity, and inclusion standards in service delivery and workplace culture.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years managing affordable or supportive housing

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, business, public administration, or related field

Mandatory Requirements

  • Legal employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
  • Completion of TB test, background check, and drug screening

Driving Requirements

  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and ability to qualify for PATH insurance coverage

Additional Info

Work must be performed within California; remote work is not offered. Hybrid schedules depend on role specifics. Benefits include health coverage, paid time off, holidays, and retirement plans.
