General Responsibilities:

The Senior Marketing Business Partner leads the marketing development within the western part of the United States for Terracon, covering Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho. This role is part of the national marketing team, reporting to the CMO, and focuses on elevating regional marketing practices in pursuit development, event strategy, research, and digital marketing. The position combines strategic oversight with hands-on support for marketing communications and proposal execution, aiming to ensure marketing excellence and consistency across the company.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Build relationships with marketing and client development teams, advising on tools, best practices, and resources.
  2. Oversee consistency efforts in operations, including quality control, onboarding, training, and leadership development.
  3. Communicate growth strategies and marketing tactics to regional teams, acting as a thinking partner for marketing professionals and senior leaders.
  4. Partner with corporate marketing resources to support digital, PR, and design efforts, providing strategic direction.
  5. Collaborate with client development teams on pursuit strategies, proposals, and interview coaching, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  6. Train, coach, and mentor teams on pursuit coordination, team building, and goal setting.
  7. Develop and drive regional marketing plans aligned with business growth objectives.
  8. Serve as SME and quality reviewer for pre-sell materials and presentations.
  9. Monitor and promote continuous quality improvements in projects and processes.
  10. Lead initiatives related to client development and marketing, staying updated on industry trends and research.
  11. Organize and track thought leadership and awards efforts.
  12. Understand project risks and company policies to mitigate potential issues.
  13. Assist M&A team with marketing perspectives during acquisitions.
  14. Lead safety efforts and promote a safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • Must reside within the specified western states.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field, with 12+ years of related experience, or 16+ years without a degree.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable record.

Preferred Certification:

  • Certified Professional Services Marketer

This is a "Remote Only" position, working from home or another location without a designated office workspace.

The salary range is $101,200-$156,900, adjusted based on location, qualifications, and experience.
