Sr. Analyst, HRIS & HR Analytics

Description:

Provides Human Resources and VPH leadership with HR and workforce reporting and analysis to help drive decision-making, shape future talent strategy, and improve HR performance and organizational processes.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of HR processes, terminology, data, and best practices.
  • Minimum five (5) years' progressive experience in Human Resources services delivery.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis and reporting related to workforce, including compensation and benefits.
  • Experience integrating bots and AI into HR processes is a plus.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience as a super user or administrator with UKG is preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS upgrades, migrations, or expansions is required.
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and persistence to ensure accuracy.
  • Proven ability to handle highly confidential information.
  • High self-awareness and ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

EDUCATION :

  • Associate's degree and related analytics certifications required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

LICENSURES / CERTIFICATION :

  • Must obtain and maintain LA City Fire Card certification within 30 days of employment.
  • PHR, SHRP, CBP, or CPP certifications are highly preferred.

MUST HAVES :

  • Completion of all required licensures, certifications, and mandatory education before expiration or within the required timeframe, as per policy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Collaborate with leaders to produce insights, including measuring and reporting on organizational effectiveness.
  • Apply data science techniques to analyze trends and generate insights for process improvement.
  • Use data visualization to present complex data clearly and actionably.
  • Continuously seek to improve data quality, methodologies, and processes.
  • Perform complex analytical and research studies; prepare detailed reports with tables, charts, and narratives.
  • Audit data integrity, address concerns, and establish processes to enhance data quality.
  • Generate routine and ad hoc reports from HRIS and Applicant Tracking systems.
  • Explore data integration between systems.
  • Maintain HR tech stack setups and data management.
  • Consult on automating manual HR processes.
  • Participate in system enhancements and testing.
  • Support HR team members with reporting and training.
  • Provide end-user support for system issues.
