Responsibilities:

The Data Analyst will support Barrow Wise's GSA project and perform the following duties:

  1. Organize and analyze large amounts of structured and unstructured data sets using data analytical tools, including locating, accessing, merging, cleaning, and standardizing data, and developing derived metrics.
  2. Develop and/or manage & improve existing Google Apps Scripts for various reports and dashboards, such as the Project Data Sheet, Leasing eStretch, Expiring Lease Report, and KPI dashboards.
  3. Consult, develop, and build base requirements for automating reports like the READ Leasing, Planning, and Federal workload report, including duration analysis, prioritization tools, and workload capacity models.
  4. Establish data pipelines and develop best practices in collaboration with the business line.
  5. Migrate all READ Reports to Google to enhance reporting capabilities.
  6. Create and implement data collection and analysis tools using programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SQL, Scala, Java) and maintain Google sites and web applications for READ.
  7. Automate manual processes and reports, including communications with leasing stakeholders, and convert Oracle SQL scripts with UNIX shell commands to Oracle BI publisher.
  8. Leverage tools like SQL, Salesforce, Tableau, Google Scripts, and Data Studio to automate data pulls and transformations.
  9. Ensure the accuracy of calculations, including present value analysis and cash flows.
  10. Ensure compliance with Section 508 requirements.
  11. Document code for future migration and updates.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, IT).
  • 3+ years' experience with data processing, analysis, and visualization tools such as VBA, SQL, Python, Java, GIS, Tableau, BigQuery, Google Data Studio.
  • Experience in improving operational and reporting data processes and infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation, management, and reporting.
  • Coding skills in SQL and Python.
  • Advanced experience with Google Suite / Workspace / Sheets / Excel.
