Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('SpinCo') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Over the past twenty years, Fandango has built a network of direct-to-consumer digital brands, serving over 50 million fans who love movies, TV, and streaming. Our portfolio includes Fandango, the leading online movie ticketing platform, Rotten Tomatoes, the renowned entertainment review site, and Fandango at Home (formerly Vudu), an on-demand streaming service with a vast library of 4K UHD titles and more.

Job Description
Fandango is seeking a Manager, Partner Relations, to oversee and develop Fandango at Home Transactional Video on Demand, aiming to meet and surpass performance goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of e-commerce marketing and experience in organizing or promoting live events. Excellent communication skills are crucial for effective collaboration with external clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment and progress towards shared objectives.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Maintain daily relationships with merchandising and marketing teams at all Fandango-serviced B2B clients
  • Develop merchandising plans to achieve sales targets for each B2B client, understanding their unique challenges and opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal creative teams to produce and deliver timely static and video marketing assets
  • Maintain a visual calendar to update team members and executives on weekly client-specific merchandising plans; communicate these to Studio Relations and studio partners
  • Coordinate with the Fandango at Home merchandising team to develop shared promotions, including bespoke promotions like rewards programs, AVOD, and free content
  • Support the Studio Relations team by reviewing content submissions and identifying strategic opportunities aligned with B2B goals
  • Maintain internal documents with B2B client info such as calendars and discounts
  • Onboard new partners by introducing key contacts and establishing best practices for smooth operations
  • Serve as the main point of contact for external and internal partners, ensuring clear communication
  • Curate and manage merchandise displays on the website and apps according to promotional strategies
  • Work with internal teams on asset deliveries for timely releases
  • Assist partners in navigating Fandango's organization, connecting them with departments like Ticketing, Marketing, Social, Content, PR, and Finance
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to the Fandango at Home Merchant team

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Retail, Sales, or Marketing
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges
  • Creative thinking and ability to drive innovative solutions
  • Strong knowledge and passion for premium content, including Film, TV, and live sports/events
  • Knowledge of boxing, wrestling, and soccer, including current trends and key athletes; ability to communicate effectively about pay-per-view events
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through skills and the ability to manage complex tasks efficiently
  • Proficient in task prioritization, multitasking, and adapting in fast-paced environments

Desired Characteristics:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Film, Entertainment, Business, or related fields
  • Experience in the entertainment industry, especially with e-commerce
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration to build consensus and drive results

Additional Job Requirements

  • This role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the Los Angeles, CA office
  • Willingness to travel domestically for business

This position offers benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and other perks. Salary range: $90,000–$100,000, bonus eligible.
