Base pay range

$95,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr

A well-established and innovative aerospace manufacturer in Ventura County is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team. This is a full-time, on-site role offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace components used in high-reliability applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, processes, and workflows
• Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability of new products
• Create and update process documentation including work instructions, routers, and tooling specs
• Support production by troubleshooting technical issues and driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead or support lean manufacturing efforts, including waste reduction, time studies, and process flow optimization
• Assist in new product introductions (NPI) and process validation activities
• Evaluate equipment needs and make recommendations for upgrades or purchases

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
• 2–5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace or defense industry experience preferred
• Working knowledge of manufacturing principles, lean methods, and process control
• Hands-on experience with assembly and testing of electromechanical components a plus
• Proficient in CAD software and ERP/MRP systems
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
