Senior Civil Transportation EngineerFounded in 1973, DJ&A is a multidisciplinary professional services consulting firm with offices in Montana, Colorado, Washington, South Dakota, New Mexico, and Nevada. Our team of over 180 professionals works nationwide on engineering, environmental survey, mapping, landscape architecture, and planning projects for federal, state, local, tribal, and private clients.We are seeking a full-time Senior Transportation Engineer with 10 to 20 years of relevant experience, particularly in:Preparation of roadway construction documents for various roadway types, including arterial, rural, and interstate projects.Project management and design experience with New Mexico Department of Transportation projects.Project management and design experience with county and city transportation projects within New Mexico.Experience in marketing roadway projects in New Mexico.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Managing transportation projects, including preparing construction documents.Leading marketing efforts for transportation projects with NMDOT and local agencies.Collaborating with design engineers to develop construction documents, coordinating efforts between agencies, local teams, and internal staff via online communication.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil Engineering.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.Ability to travel to project sites.Access to and navigation of job sites and construction areas.Salary and Benefits:Hourly wage: $40-$55, based on experience.Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), profit sharing, performance bonuses, paid time off, and eleven paid holidays.Office Locations:Albuquerque, NMReno, NVDJ&A is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
