Job Summary
We are seeking a Manager, Production to join our team in the US. You will play a foundation role in building our success by managing the production, project progress and logistics at multiple sites in the US, supporting the US sales and marketing teams, and collaborating with production from other locations in product sourcing. You can have the flexibility to work remotely or at one of our office locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist and manage production at all locations in the US.
  • Is the primary contact in receiving salable inventory requests from all US sales, managing and executing inventory sourcing, allocation and replenishment plan.
  • Manage custom production projects, including rederivation and breeding.
  • Is the primary contact in receiving the starting material for production initiation.
  • Is the primary contact during the life cycle of the project: receiving project updates from production sites and providing project updates to customers.
  • Is the primary contact in assisting outbound animal shipment to ensure order fulfillment.
  • Delineate complex processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in life science with knowledge of mouse genetics and reproduction.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in research animal care and production.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Experience with project management automation systems is a plus.
  • Demonstrated skills with word processing, spreadsheet, PowerPoint presentation and other office applications.
  • Minimal travel in the US and internationally is expected.
