About The Job

At Danone, manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently hiring a Logistics Manager based in our City of Industry, California beverage manufacturing facility. In this role, you will oversee warehouse operational performance and customer service, providing strategic and tactical direction for Cold Storage, Dry Storage, and 3rd party logistics in a multi-facility environment. You will guide multiple teams, ensure inventory levels and space are optimized, and collaborate with various organizational leaders to improve warehouse operations and customer service.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Lead warehouse and planning teams, managing material planning, scheduling, storage, transportation, and 3rd party relationships.
  • Implement strategies to optimize safety, costs, and efficiency in warehouse operations.
  • Incorporate food safety considerations into processes from forecasting to delivery.
  • Communicate regulatory expectations for storage operations that impact the supply chain.
  • Transform data into actionable insights to improve warehouse performance.
  • Develop warehouse talent through coaching and training.
  • Investigate and resolve warehousing issues affecting product availability.
  • Monitor and report on inventory accuracy, fill rate, delivery timeliness, and customer satisfaction, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with Transportation and Customer Logistics teams to enhance performance.
  • Ensure plant readiness for audits and inspections.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 5-8 years of leadership in operations or warehouse roles, preferably in food or beverage manufacturing.
  • Experience with SAP, eCommerce/EDI, WMS, and process improvement methodologies like IWS/Lean.
  • Strong inventory management skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Knowledge of warehouse layout, storage strategies, and third-party contracts.
  • Ability to support a 24/7 operation and travel up to 10%.
