Palisades Tahoe Resort is seeking an experienced F&B Operations Manager to lead the Rocker restaurant. If you have a passion for the food and beverage industry and a knack for inspiring team performance, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Position Summary:

You will oversee all operations of Rocker, focusing on enhancing team performance, driving sales, ensuring profitability, and maintaining effective cost controls. You will be instrumental in training and retaining employees to create an outstanding guest experience.

Salary:

The annual salary range for this position is $64,480.00 - $89,463.31. Actual salaries may vary based on experience, education, and other factors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve operational objectives by implementing the business plan and guest experience systems.
  • Foster a fun, service-focused culture through effective hiring, team direction, performance appraisals, and issue resolution.
  • Respond to guest feedback about food quality and service with established recovery practices.
  • Maintain responsible alcohol service standards and compliance.
  • Enforce sanitation standards in accordance with legal regulations.
  • Collaborate with chefs on menu planning and cost estimation.
  • Assist with kitchen and front-of-house duties as needed.
  • Exhibit a positive, upbeat attitude in all interactions.
  • Uphold grooming and uniform standards among staff.
  • Stay current with industry knowledge and practices.

Management Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 65-70 employees, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement in operational standards.
  • Create and manage labor budgets and payroll compliance.
  • Establish safety standards as per company and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Five years in Food & Beverage Management or equivalent experience.
  • Three years of supervisory experience.
  • Must have or obtain a CA Food Handlers Card.
  • State health and/or alcohol compliance card.

Preferred Experience:

  • Food & Beverage Management in a resort setting.
  • Familiarity with Palisades Tahoe's F&B outlets.

Physical Requirements:

This position may require extended periods of walking or standing, lifting up to 25 lbs, and exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
