Sr Director and General Manager, Orthopedic Extremities page is loaded
JOB OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for the sales, profitability, strategy and day-to-day operations of the Orthopedic Extremities Business Unit globally within the Orthopedics Group. The role is responsible for developing and executing the growth strategy for the global business unit working closely within a dotted line matrix environment together with our consolidated and non-consolidated partners and Henry Schein shared services.
The leader is accountable for leadership, innovation and strategy that will ensure market share growth, new market development and profitability in line with strategic goals and values. The role includes responsibility for leader development, coaching, and tactical direction & support as well as contributing at a senior level to overall corporate strategy.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
Typically 12 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience including direct or indirect sales experience; 7 or more years of management experience including Medical device Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Product Development and Operations Leadership
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Travel typically less than 20%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
T he posted range for this position is $157,414-$225,919 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
At the time of this posting, this position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range subject to the achievement of the plan.
