San Bernardino County is recruiting for Systems Accountants III to lead Systems Accountants in developing, designing, and reviewing complex accounting systems and procedures. Essential duties include assisting departments in identifying, defining, and analyzing accounting and financial problems; developing and recommending departmental accounting systems; preparing procedures and instructing departments on new or modified systems; evaluating system feasibility; and coordinating system conversions.
The resulting eligible list may be used to fill future vacancies throughout the County.

REQUIREMENTS:
Substitution: One year of qualifying experience may substitute for one year of the required experience if it is equivalent to a Senior Accountant/Auditor or higher.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with accounting systems, procedures, security, workflow, training, and communication skills. CPA is preferred.
