Accounting Manager – Investment Firm/Family Office

Our client is a private investment company/family office seeking their next Accounting Manager. In this role, you will focus on accounting and financial records for multiple entities, including individual family members, investment partnerships/LLCs, trusts, corporations, and other special purpose entities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly close process for various entities, including bank reconciliations, accruals, account balance reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Review and approve bill payments, deposit receipts, and journal entries.
• Manage funding and logistics for new investments and financings.
• Prepare cash flow reports, projections, and planning.
• Compile year-end information for all family office entities for the tax department.
• Assist in audit preparations by compiling supporting schedules and responding to auditor inquiries promptly and accurately.
• Develop strong working relationships with internal service team members.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of accounting experience, ideally including public accounting.
• Family office experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• Experience with Sage software is a plus.

Torrance, CA: $75,000 - $115,000
