Our client is a fast-growing consumer goods brand with a strong presence across both retail and direct-to-consumer (DTC) eCommerce channels. As they scale operations across multiple distribution channels, they are seeking a dynamic and strategic finance leader to help guide our next phase of growth.

Position Summary:

The Vice President of Finance will oversee all financial operations and strategy, supporting the company's multi-channel growth. This role requires strong financial leadership with an understanding of both retail (wholesale, brick-and-mortar) and eCommerce business models. The ideal candidate will be both a strategic thinker and a hands-on operator with a track record of building scalable finance functions in fast-paced consumer product environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting processes
• Partner with the executive team to shape and execute financial strategies that support growth across retail and eCommerce channels
• Provide actionable insights into product margin, customer acquisition cost (CAC), return on ad spend (ROAS), inventory turns, and retail sell-through
• Manage the accounting function and ensure timely and accurate monthly close
• Oversee cash management, tax compliance, audits, and regulatory reporting
• Drive financial systems improvements and process automation to support scale
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain to align financial goals with business execution
• Develop, manage, and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team
• Support fundraising efforts, board reporting, and investor relations as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally in a consumer goods company with both retail and eCommerce channels
• Deep understanding of inventory management, unit economics, and omni-channel sales operations
• Proficient in financial modeling, analytics, and KPI development
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or other ERP/accounting systems; familiarity with Shopify and retail POS systems a plus
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable operating in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
