$90,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr

Recruiting Engineering Professionals in California and the Midwest

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 QMS manufacturing environment
• Expert in GD&T and use of metrology instruments
• Experience in processing non-conformances and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions)
• Background in Material Review Board (MRB) procedures
• Skilled in preparing First Article Inspections per AS9102 standards
• Experience working with military or Department of Defense (DoD) products preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide quality interface and expertise within the business unit to ensure customer satisfaction
• Establish, maintain, and improve Quality Management Systems (QMS) in compliance with ISO-9001 and AS9100D
• Support ongoing business operations including manufacturing, inspection and testing, and supplier monitoring
• Develop departmental processes and document control aligned with AS9100D compliance
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement process improvements across the organization
• Ensure adherence to manufacturing procedures and develop inspection documentation for receiving, in-process, and final inspections
• Review internal and external non-conformances and coordinate corrective action responses to prevent recurrence
• Monitor supplier performance and coordinate inspections with government agencies/DCMA
