Warehouse Associate - Shipping Dept.

for its 120,000 sq. ft. distribution center in Reno, Nevada

As part of the shipping team, you will be responsible for processing LTL and Parcel shipments. Utilizing a pallet wrapping machine to wrap pallets, audit orders to verify accuracy, and apply required paperwork and labeling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audits orders to verify accuracy.
• Utilizing the automated pallet wrappers, ensure all pallets are properly wrapped for shipment.
• Assist loading trucks as needed.
• Operates a clean and safe work environment.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results.
• Maintains safety, quality, and delivery standards set forth by warehouse management.
• Responsibilities may include packing, auditing, and shipping merchandise to the customer. (After training, as needed)
• Perform other duties and assignments as directed by management.

Position Qualifications:

• Some previous warehousing experience.
• Willing to learn how to operate a forklift.
• Desire to work in an organized and positive warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Attention to detail and good time management skills.
• May be required to work overtime as needed.
• Must keep area clean and orderly.
