Seeking a Senior Financial Analyst!


Our client, a well-established consumer goods company headquartered in the Bay Area, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their growing team. This is a high-impact role supporting financial planning and analysis across multiple business units, including sales, marketing, and G&A. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for improving systems and processes. This position is hybrid, with an initial expectation of 5 days/week onsite in South San Francisco during ramp-up (2-3 months), transitioning to 3 days/week onsite thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Partner with budget managers to prepare headcount, operating expense, and capital budgets.
• Lead monthly variance analysis and collaborate with business partners to understand financial drivers.
• Support system administration for financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Planning).
• Drive strategic planning initiatives and ad hoc financial modeling projects.
• Identify opportunities to enhance reporting, technology, and department effectiveness.
  
  

Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience in FP&A, ideally in multi-channel retail or consumer products.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience).
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Adaptive Planning is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
