JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Specialty Care Services will work across the healthcare system to achieve service line accountabilities. The Director will have operational, financial and patient experience oversight over multiple service lines. Responsibilities include collaborating with leadership on the service line specific strategic plans and ownership of plan communication and implementation. Cultivating positive and effective physician dyad relationships, as well as developing and mentoring of direct reports are key focuses of the Director. Operating with the highest level of integrity, the Director will foster positive, collaborative relationships throughout the organization for the enhancement of the specialty care service delivery and growth. Facilitation of a positive work environment for physicians, providers, leaders and staff will also be a focus of the Director. The Director will act as a conduit for service line innovation in practice and offerings, presenting business plans and pro forma to leadership and physician dyad leaders for consideration and adoption.


SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  1. Education: Master's highly preferred or Bachelors required with 8 years of management experience.
  2. Experience: Minimum 6 years of progressively responsible management ambulatory leadership experience required with at least 4 years in the discipline. Administrative leadership experience within specialty services and/or surgical services preferred.
  3. Skills: Demonstrated experience in building collaborative working relationships with providers, colleagues, staff, and senior executives. Demonstrated initiative, follow through and ability to work independently and collaboratively. Demonstrated leadership skills and high professional standards with results oriented management style. Demonstrated effective project management skills. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. Must possess strong degree of organizational skills and demonstrated ability to deal with job-related stress, setting of priorities, coordination multiple projects and successful record of meeting deadlines. Must possess willingness to provide on-site practice oversight, as needed. Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel skills required.
  4. Interpersonal Skills: Possesses a set of value-based behaviors that are to be consistently demonstrated and role modeled by all employees.


Compensation based on skill set and duration of interim engagement.
