Job Summary
Reporting directly to the Director of Client Strategy, the Manager of Client Strategy will serve as a key liaison between the agency and a group of high-value clients. Using a consultative approach, this role manages client strategy and execution to foster growth and retention.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to help achieve their goals.
- Conduct in-depth assessments of clients to identify and confirm key business objectives and KPIs.
- Develop, execute, and manage comprehensive, integrated media strategies aligned with clients' growth objectives.
- Coordinate with the Investment Department to ensure strategic alignment and delivery.
- Explore media options and develop innovative media solutions.
- Collaborate with Data Science teams to provide insights and identify scaling opportunities.
- Utilize data insights, industry best practices, and agency resources to develop and implement strategies.
- Manage weekly performance reviews and prepare presentation materials.
- Oversee media planning, budget management, and client billing processes.
- Coordinate with Data Science, Product, and Engineering teams for onboarding, implementation, and management of measurement platforms and data strategies.
- Facilitate internal communication across teams.
- Assist in managing agency client and team P&L in line with billing and revenue goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other agency areas and partners.
- Guide and support team members by setting goals and aligning efforts with the agency's vision.
Qualifications
- 4-7+ years of agency experience, including roles in internal strategy groups, external marketing/business consultancy, or omni-channel advertising agencies managing brand and business growth.
- Strong quantitative skills; ability to interpret data, generate insights, and communicate findings effectively. This is not a technical role, but comfort with data is essential.
- Ability to switch seamlessly between strategy, tactics, and execution.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Deep knowledge of traditional and digital media channels and marketing strategies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear strategic narratives for clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Slides.
- Collaborative, positive attitude with a proactive, resourceful approach.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and work well within a team.
