As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Project Executive in the Los Angeles, CA area who thrives in fast-paced environments, leads with precision, and is passionate about bringing ambitious visions to life.

Position Overview:

The Project Executive is accountable for the end-to-end success of assigned construction projects and staff on the West Coast. From pre-construction through closeout, you'll lead planning, coordination, budgeting, and execution—ensuring that every project is delivered on time, on budget, and on brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide senior-level oversight of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for clients, owner's representatives, architects, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead and support Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and site teams, fostering growth, performance, and accountability.
  • Establish and enforce project-specific strategies for execution, resource allocation, safety, risk management, and financial performance.
  • Monitor and drive schedule, cost control, procurement, and quality assurance across all projects under your purview.
  • Collaborate with estimating and pre-construction teams to validate budgets, review scopes, and guide strategic buyouts.
  • Ensure proactive communication and seamless coordination between internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Resolve escalated project challenges, including changes in scope, staffing conflicts, or risk issues, with confidence and clarity.
  • Support client presentations, milestone meetings, and project reviews at critical phases.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on project health, including budget status, schedule adherence, and risk assessments.
  • Oversee the timely and efficient closeout of projects, ensuring all contractual and financial obligations are met.
  • Build and strengthen long-term relationships with clients and industry partners to promote repeat business and future opportunities.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives, process improvements, and strategic planning efforts as part of the company's leadership team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) a plus.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in the construction industry, including: at least 7 years in a leadership role managing high-end commercial, luxury retail, or residential projects.
  • Significant experience working for or with a General Contractor on complex, multi-phase projects on the West Coast.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple project teams simultaneously while delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Executive-level client-facing skills, with a track record of building trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Deep knowledge of construction means and methods, contracts, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Procore and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience with forecasting, change order management, and contract negotiation.
  • Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and communication skills with the ability to motivate and mentor teams.
  • Strategic, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to navigate challenges calmly and effectively.
