We're now looking for a bold, results-drivenSales Director – Hospitality & Key Accountsto help us rapidly scale Surfwater asthebottled water brand in California's entertainment and hospitality scene — with a clear path to national rollout and global expansion.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in alean, fast-moving, founder-led environmentwhere decisions are made quickly, and every win directly impacts the company's momentum. Surfwater is currently bootstrapped and scaling with precision — and we're looking for someone who sees that as an advantage.

Preferably based in Southern California, or otherwise highly connected across the Western U.S. hospitality and beverage landscape.

Role Description

This is aremote, contract-based leadership rolewith high visibility and strong growth potential. You'll be the driving force behind Surfwater's expansion in hospitality and on-premise accounts — from boutique hotels and luxury resorts to cafés, restaurants, and entertainment venues.

You'll work closely with the founder and be empowered to make moves, close deals, and help shape the future of the brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue by opening new accounts and growing existing partnerships
  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers across hospitality, entertainment, and beverage sectors
  • Manage pipelines, sales forecasts, and CRM
  • Lead or support a growing team of sales reps as we scale
  • Ensure world-class service and long-term account loyalty
  • Collaborate with marketing and leadership on activations and growth strategies
Qualifications
  • Strong track record in on-premise beverage sales and business development
  • Deep relationships within key hospitality accounts (hotels, restaurants, resorts, cafés, venues)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and people skills
  • Independent, entrepreneurial, and ready to operate in a lean, fast-paced environment
  • CRM and reporting experience
  • Team leadership or mentorship experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred

Bonus:Experience within the Hospitality and On Premise Key Accounts industry, Premium water, beverage, or lifestyle CPG brands.

Location:Remote (Southern California preferred)

Compensation:Contract-based with performance incentives + equity potential
