Performs general maintenance work to ensure Resort and surrounding buildings maintenance quality standards are achieved and maintained. This is a night/graveyard shift position. This position pays $20.00/hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and complete work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl, etc., to maintain the Resort and uphold quality standards.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance assignments.
• Check and make minor repairs to electrical systems such as air conditioning controls, televisions, lighting systems, and make minor repairs or replacements.
• Check and make minor repairs on plumbing systems and fixtures such as pipelines, toilets, sinks, and kitchen equipment.
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures within the property, including cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows, and counters. Paint and finish as needed.
• Install and repair flooring such as ceramic tile, vinyl, carpet, etc.
• Work various shifts as needed by the property.
• Perform room preventative maintenance as required.
• Respond timely to radio calls and report status (follow-up).
• Be responsive to guest issues, willing to assist co-workers, and work as a team.
• Assist with guest services, functions, and group setups as required.
• Maintain good communication skills—written and verbal.
• Fulfill all reasonable requests from management.

Qualifications

• At least 18 months of maintenance experience.
• Basic maintenance skills required.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Good customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with good time management skills.
• Mechanical inclination.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
