Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accounting Clerk to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base pay rate of $26.00 to $30.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

• Process payment journals and ensure accurate financial entries
• Reconcile sales data and bank statements, investigating and resolving discrepancies
• Verify petty cash vouchers and records for all store locations
• Assist in preparing financial statements and budget analysis reports
• Support tax filings at the federal, state, and local levels
  
  

• 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• Communicate fluently in both English and Japanese, verbally and in writing
• Apply attention to detail when reviewing financial data and documentation
• Use accounting software and Microsoft Office applications proficiently
• Provide administrative support to the Finance Director and CFO as needed
  
  

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Understand basic GAAP principles and apply them in daily accounting tasks
• Assist with auditor requests and act as a primary point of contact during audits
• Set up and maintain master data in the ERP system
• Aid in implementing new accounting policies, standards, and procedures
