Under the direction of the facility leader, this position is responsible for ensuring that the facility is operating efficiently. Senior Medical Assistants working in a Medical Home and/or medical group setting will be an integral part of the patient s care team. They will work within the healthcare team, working together to achieve top quality outcomes and delivering optimal patient centered care. Senior Medical Assistants will be required to room patients, track and coordinate test results, educate patients, and assist with closing care gaps.
