This position is accountable for the planning, direction, and efficiency workflow of the surgical scheduling board. Nature and Scope Renown Health nursing leadership is a shared responsibility between the Nursing Coordinators, Directors, Managers and Supervisors in resolving problems related to patient care, and in maintaining the quality of care planned for the patients in a cost containment environment. The Board Runner serves as an administrative resource person and patient advocate. Within this general framework, this position performs the following standards: Supports nursing leadership in the provision of quality care, maintains productivity, and patient through put. Assigns or floats staff to meet patient care needs and address productivity standards, adjusting for census, skill mix, and sick calls.
