Description

Tahoe Donner Association is looking for fun and personable Winter Guest Services Agents to join our Downhill Ski Resort Operations! The Winter Guest Services Agent is a front-line position that interacts with a potentially high volume of guests in a fast-paced environment at the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort. The Winter Guest Service Agents are responsible for greeting and assisting all guests, selling and fulfilling all Downhill Ski Resort products, including lift tickets, lessons, season passes, programs, rentals and retail items.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Provide excellent customer service to members, guests, general public and employees. Treats all external and internal customers with respect and dignity.
2. Maintain current knowledge and follow association policies, procedures, rules and regulations as applicable to the position.
3. Maintains thorough knowledge of all product offerings, mountain operations, events and assists customers with online product sales, arrival procedures and questions. Requires communicating in person and via phone as well as via the ski school radio as needed.
4. Operate the resort's Point of Sale System (RTP) to sell products, schedule lessons, and fulfil orders completed online.
5. Provide accurate cash handling and abides by the organizational standards for safety & security.
6. Assist with retail pricing, restocking, tidying etc. and assisting customers with retail selection and sales. Assist with guest lockers and follows lost & found procedural standards.
7. Coordinate and assist with group bookings, programs, and winter events.
8. Keep a clean and safe work environment. Assist with light cleaning duties and snow removal including shoveling and clearing snow from walkways and paths.

We are looking for the following qualifications:

• Proficiency required in RTP POS System and Microsoft Office Systems
• Required proficiency with common office machines and their operations.
• Proficient in the product offerings of Tahoe Donner
• Ability to always provide exemplary guest service and create positive guest experiences.
• Ability to adapt to and embrace variable situations.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid certifications are recommended.

These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or equivalent and one to three months' related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of formal training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform all of the duties of the position.
