Position Summary...

What you'll do...

About the Team

The Last Mile Delivery (LMD) Trip Experience team ensures every order — fulfilled in and delivered from Walmart stores — reaches customers on time with a smooth, effortless experience from start to finish. We optimize the process for Spark Drivers and partners who power Walmart's delivery network, coordinating millions of store-fulfilled deliveries weekly across various pickup points, including express, scheduled, and same-day fulfillment.

This role is within the Arrivals Domain (Spark Driver Arrival at Store), focusing on the critical phase between driver acceptance and store pickup. Our products influence driver detection upon arrival, parking flow management, store associate preparation, and the in-app experience for drivers, including check-in, chain-of-custody, guidance, timing, and status updates — all to ensure a smooth and predictable pickup process.

By reducing wait times, enhancing predictability, and preventing errors, we aim for every arrival to be timely, smooth, and to set drivers up for their next trip with minimal friction.

Our work intersects e-commerce, logistics, and gig work, balancing customer expectations, driver earnings, and store operations. Success requires creativity, analytical rigor, and a strong commitment to delivering excellent experiences at scale.

In this role you will…

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the driver arrival and pickup experience, aligning with Walmart's Last Mile Delivery goals.
  • Lead the full product lifecycle from discovery to launch, iteration, and scaling.
  • Translate strategy into clear requirements, collaborating closely with engineering, design, analytics, and operations to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Define and monitor success metrics, using data, research, and market insights to guide decisions and validate outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Walmart to align priorities, secure buy-in, and deliver balanced outcomes for drivers, customers, and store operations.

You'll excel if…

  • You possess a comprehensive product management toolkit, from setting vision to execution and impact measurement across the product lifecycle.
  • You thrive in complex, high-scale environments, balancing diverse user needs.
  • You are customer-obsessed, working backward from real needs to create simple, effective solutions that improve operational efficiency and user experience.
  • You combine strategic thinking with a bias for action, adapting quickly and making smart trade-offs amidst ambiguity.
  • You communicate clearly and influence effectively, building alignment across stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
  • You are scrappy but prioritize quality, embracing a test-and-learn mindset for continuous improvement.
  • You understand the nuances of integrating digital and physical experiences to ensure seamless, high-quality pickups.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing high-scale, multi-user products with both customer-facing and partner-facing components.
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable interpreting behavioral data, running experiments, and using insights for decision-making.
  • Ability to write clear, concise product requirements for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to influence and build consensus.
  • Experience partnering with data science teams on ML-powered features.
  • Experience in products bridging digital and physical worlds, especially in real-time operational contexts like last-mile delivery or transportation tech.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and designing inclusive digital experiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, with 7+ years of product management experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Additional benefits include competitive pay, performance bonuses, health coverage, 401(k), stock options, paid time off, and other Walmart benefits. For more information on benefits, visit One.Walmart.

Location options include Sunnyvale, CA, and Bentonville, AR, with respective salary ranges.
