Lead Sleep Technician oversees the nighttime sleep technicians by maintaining staff schedule, ordering appropriate supplies, assist with training, and performing overnight sleep studies to assist in the evaluation and treatment of sleep patients in compliance with AASM guidelines. Nature and Scope Sleep Lab Operations Acts as a contact person for technical issues within the department on all shifts. Monitors staff performance, provides feedback for performance appraisals, and consults with the Manager on recruitment and hiring of technical staff. Supervises work assignments of technical staff, thereby ensuring the efficient use of resources and timely completion of tasks. Assists in night time lab operations, including scoring, patient testing, and titrations. Assists in monitoring of the quality assurance program for the Sleep Lab.
