Are you a seasoned construction professional looking to take charge of major projects from the ground up? We are seeking a Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent to lead our client's teams and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader to bring their expertise to impactful projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000/yr.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, possible weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of heavy civil construction projects, from planning and scheduling to execution.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and construction crews.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained, utilized, and tracked.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules, addressing issues quickly to keep projects on track.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and project documentation.
• Lead safety meetings, enforce protocols, and ensure compliance with all regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 20+ years of experience in heavy civil construction management or a related role.
• Strong background in structural, mechanical, dirt work, and underground utilities (pipework).
• Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage large teams.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with project management tools and software.
• A strong commitment to safety, quality, and timely project delivery.
