How you create impact
As Director, Sea Logistics Business Development at Kuehne+Nagel, you will help lead the strategic expansion of our sea logistics business across the territory. You will be responsible for identifying high-impact growth opportunities, building relationships, and driving revenue through innovative solutions. This role requires a sales strategist with deep industry expertise and a passion for delivering customer-centric value. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to shape the future of our sea logistics offering.
- Define and execute business development strategies across assigned territory
- Identify and pursue high-value opportunities and strategic partnerships
- Lead negotiations and long-term contract development
- Collaborate with product, operations, and finance teams to align solutions
- Represent Kuehne+Nagel in industry conferences and client engagements
- Analyze market trends and customer insights to inform strategy
- Drive RFQ and contract negotiations with a focus on long-term value
- Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value customers
What we would like you to bring
10+ years of experience in freight forwarding sales, with a focus on sea freight
Proven ability in hunting for new business development opportunities and highly strategic sales opportunities in sea freight forwarding
Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills
Deep understanding of global logistics markets and customer needs

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
