Senior Product Manager, Connectivity
Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. The successful candidate is expected to report to the Technical/Innovation Center in Mountain View (CA) or Warren (MI) three times per week at minimum. The position can be located at either of these locations. If based in Mountain View, quarterly travel to Michigan is expected.
The Software & Services division of General Motors is responsible for defining and delivering software, electrical hardware, and services that support GM vehicles. This includes mechatronic infrastructure, OnStar connected services, infotainment systems, and autonomous driving, creating comprehensive vehicle experiences.

The Role
As Senior Product Manager for Connectivity, you will define and execute the Connectivity Experience roadmap across all in-vehicle touchpoints. Vehicles are increasingly connected to customers' digital lives, linking multiple devices via technologies like Bluetooth, BLE, UWB, and Wi-Fi, and connecting to external devices such as garage doors and toll systems.
You will lead the development of seamless, innovative connectivity solutions, including 5G cellular and Wi-Fi, to meet future needs. Responsibilities include anticipating customer and business requirements, strategizing device management, and collaborating with connectivity technology Product Managers to shape hardware and software developments.
Success in this role depends on your ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, make customer-centric decisions, and build consensus across teams. You should be proactive, hands-on, and dedicated to providing reliable, innovative connectivity solutions that delight customers.
What You'll Do
Define and own the long-term Connectivity Experience product vision, setting strategic direction for multiple teams.
Create a cohesive product roadmap balancing user convenience, business goals, and resource constraints.
Lead cross-functional teams including Design, Engineering, Program, and Product Managers to develop customer-centric experiences.
Stay informed on emerging usability and technology trends through data, research, and market analysis to guide product decisions.
Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve connectivity solutions continuously.
Establish and track KPIs to measure product success and effectiveness.
