Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company's R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. The Opportunity:

Revolution Medicines is seeking a Senior Director of Commercial FP&A to join our growing Finance team. The Senior Director of Commercial FP&A will act as the key financial business partner for our growing Global Commercialization organization and support Global Commercial Development, US Commercial Development, and Medical Affairs teams. This role reports to the Vice President, FP&A.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional business partnerships to forecast and track activities by embedding finance into decision-making processes.

  • Collaborate with various levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare operating budgets and financial forecasts during planning cycles (e.g., annual budget, mid-year re-forecast, launch planning, etc.).

  • Provide financial direction to key stakeholders with influence with proactive recommendations, supported by robust financial analysis and insightful delivery.

  • Develop and prepare monthly internal financial management reporting packages and commercial profit/loss reports for the global and US organizations, closely working with ex-US Finance colleagues to streamline overall approach and business rules across different regions.

  • Oversee monthly variance analysis of actuals to budget, investigate any major discrepancies, and articulate key business drivers.

  • Support ad hoc analyses and special projects, providing timely and accurate financial insights to support successful commercialization of medicines upon regulatory approval.

  • Help drive process improvements and efficiencies in areas of financial planning, financial analysis, and production of reporting packages.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

  • CPA or MBA preferred.

  • 10+ years' experience in biopharmaceuticals finance/FP&A with progressive leadership roles.

  • Experience with commercial product launch and global expansion preferred.

  • Working knowledge of GAAP.

  • Excel expertise with modeling experience, PowerPoint proficiency.

  • Extensive experience utilizing financial systems and other business intelligence tools.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with ability to synthesize viewpoints of different functions, while executing on individual and shared goals. #LI-Hybrid #LI-DN1
