Base pay range

$170,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to oversee large-scale transmission and substation projects in Nevada. This individual will manage multiple multimillion-dollar projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to oversee large-scale transmission and substation projects in Nevada. This individual will manage multiple multimillion-dollar projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of substation projects from conception, design, permitting, and construction through energization and completion.

  • Manage transmission line (T-line) projects, including oversight of multi-billion-dollar programs.

  • Direct contractors, EPC firms, and internal teams to drive execution of complex T&D projects.

  • Ensure compliance with utility standards, permitting requirements, and QA/QC processes.

  • Manage budgets, schedules, and project reporting for multiple concurrent projects.

  • Serve as the central point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear communication and leadership.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of project management experience in T&D (Transmission & Distribution).

  • Proven track record of hands-on substation project management (greenfield builds preferred).

  • Experience managing large-scale transmission line projects, ideally at the multi-billion-dollar level.

  • Demonstrated success overseeing multiple multimillion-dollar projects simultaneously.

  • Strong knowledge of utility construction standards, permitting, safety, and QA/QC.

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Must be based in Nevada (Reno/Las Vegas) or open to relocation.

Not a Fit If

  • Your substation experience is limited to breaker replacements or small upgrades.

  • You have not managed projects from conception through completion.

  • You've held coordinator or assistant roles without full project ownership.
