Vice President

Mountain Machine Works (MMW) is seeking an experienced leader to be the VP of our Auburn, Maine manufacturing plant. This key individual will oversee all manufacturing operations and report directly to the CEO. This role requires proven ability to lead, coach, and drive team performance.

Key Objectives (expected to be achieved within the first year):

1. Quickly learn all business requirements to manage the facility as one of the top leaders
2. Assist in developing both strategic and tactical business plans to promote strong revenue growth
3. Ensure operational capacity and expand plant capability to accommodate projected growth
4. Collaborate with CEO and management team to establish performance initiatives and metrics

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to achieve manufacturing targets and exceed client expectations
2. Supervise the operations of manufacturing and support personnel to ensure a manufacturing process is within budget and time schedule
3. Oversee development of production and support employees to ensure a competent workforce
4. Develop and implement programs to increase efficiency and cost control
5. Monitor production team to ensure operations are in compliance with safety standards
6. Define objectives for team members that are in alignment with ACI goals
7. Ensure collaborative engagement between all teams and departments
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers and key vendors
9. Oversee plant maintenance and equipment, ensuring facilities meet the needs of the business
10. All other tasks required for MMWs continued growth and success

Skills and Experience

1. 10+ years working in the machine manufacturing industry
2. In-depth understanding of production processes
3. Previous management or leadership experience including leading or working effectively with a cross functional group
4. Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
5. Accountability coupled with a strong desire to develop and implement effective business strategies and programs
6. Strong technical aptitude and ability to train and mentor others
