At Golden State Smiles, we are dedicated to providing high-quality dental care in a compassionate and comfortable environment. Our team of experienced professionals is committed to making every visit a positive experience for our patients. We are currently seeking a motivated and organized Treatment Coordinator to join our team and help streamline our patient treatment processes.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments and equipment, adhering to health and safety regulations. This position is crucial in maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for both patients and staff.

Schedule

• This position can be either part-time or full-time.
• Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
• Saturdays in the future.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize, and package dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols and standards.
• Perform routine checks on sterilization equipment and report any malfunctioning to the office manager.
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of sterilization supplies, ordering as needed.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines for infection control and safety practices within the dental office.
• Organize clean instruments and ensure that work areas are maintained in a tidy and sanitary condition.
• Work closely with dentists and dental hygienists to ensure instrument availability and readiness for procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation of sterilization procedures and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification or training in sterilization or dental assisting is a plus.
• Previous experience in a dental office or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of sterilization methods and infection control protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management capabilities.
• Strong communication skills, with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
