Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects across Northern Nevada. From ground-up builds to complex renovations, you'll oversee every phase of construction to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This is a chance to play a key role with a reputable general contractor that values quality, collaboration, and long-term client relationships.
What You'll Do
- Take ownership of commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
- Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure financial and operational success.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and owners to deliver projects that meet scope and exceed expectations.
- Oversee procurement, subcontractor agreements, change orders, and project documentation.
- Direct and mentor field staff, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on-site.
- Conduct regular progress meetings with stakeholders, providing transparency and accountability throughout the project.
- Proactively identify risks, resolve conflicts, and drive solutions to keep projects on track.
- Ensure all projects adhere to local codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of proven Project Management experience with a general contractor, specifically focused on commercial construction (healthcare, retail, office, hospitality, education, or multi-family preferred).
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera, or similar), and budgeting/estimating processes.
- Strong communication and client-facing abilities, with a reputation for building trust and lasting relationships.
