Overview

This is a full-time on-site role for a General Manager at Christy Hill Restaurant, located in Tahoe City, CA. The General Manager will oversee daily operations, including staff management, inventory control, customer service, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities also include financial management, marketing strategies, and maintaining high standards of food quality and restaurant cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure high standards of service, quality, and cleanliness.
• Manage staff scheduling, training, performance, and development.
• Control inventory and monitor food and supply costs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Manage financial aspects including budgeting, reporting, and profitability.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
• Maintain consistent food quality and overall guest experience.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills
• Experience in financial management, budgeting, and inventory control
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle customer complaints and feedback
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, including health and safety regulations, and food quality standards
• Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
• Previous experience in a managerial role in the hospitality industry preferred
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is a plus
