We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Assistant Engineer working as a Hydraulics/Hydrology Engineer in our Water Resources' Flood and Drainage group. The position entails performing civil technical analyses, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, project scheduling, site inspections, and construction cost estimating.
This is a staffed, hourly, non-exempt position.

Compensation: $30.00 - $42.00 / hour
Performing as a member of an interdisciplinary design team managed by a Senior Level Project Engineer.
Field review of project to understand existing drainage conditions and facilities.
Preparing technical analyses for a wide array of projects in both the private and public sectors.
Hydrologic and Hydraulic Analyses.
Preparing Technical Reports.
Strong ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and collaborate within a team setting.
Proficiency in HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word and other numerical modeling programs.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
2 to 5 years of relevant experience, with a solid understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and methods.
E.I.T certification and plan to obtain Professional Registration at earliest opportunity.
Possession of a valid driver's license.
Hands-on experience with GIS and a solid working knowledge of its applications.
Engagement in industry-related professional organizations.
