Engineer I

The Engineer I is responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of the property. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent and experience in basic plumbing, electrical, and metal fabrication. Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, are essential. The position requires a clean DMV record and the ability to troubleshoot and complete minor repairs as needed. Minor demolition projects and working around electrical, water, and gas feed lines are also part of the role. The Engineer I must be able to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time, consistently lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in elevations. Safe maneuvering on the catwalk is also required.

Job Responsibilities/Duties include:

• Maintain and repair kitchen equipment and air conditioner units.
• Ensure the reliability of back up equipment for emergency use.
• Complete all general casino repairs.
• Equipment installation.
• Establish and follow effective maintenance schedules.
• Respond promptly to the needs of management and the property.
• Maintain a constant awareness of safety problems and report unsafe conditions and exposure to management.
