The Intelligent Devices Group is Lenovos largest business group, with a portfolio that includes AI-enabled devices, software, IT solutions, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Leverage data and analysis to develop and deliver strategic PR coverage that positions Lenovos Intelligent Devices Group as a leader in AI, innovation, and business transformation.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong media relationships across consumer, business, broadcast, and tech sectors; pitch and secure feature stories in high-profile media publications and outlets.
  • Amplify earned media stories across owned and social media for greater impact.
  • Lead the strategy and execution of high-profile industry award submissions, crafting data-driven storytelling for award entries and coordinating materials with internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor potential reputational risks, identify emerging issues, and develop mitigation strategies to protect Lenovos brand and the Intelligent Devices Groups interests.
  • Lead rapid response efforts during crises and provide counsel to senior leadership on sensitive communications, including talking points and internal briefings.
  • Collaborate with global product PR, analyst relations, marketing, and other communications teams; align PR strategy with business objectives and executive priorities.
  • Partner with agencies and external stakeholders to maximize media impact.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of PR experience (in-house or agency), preferably in tech.
  • Native English writer; writing samples required.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel for creating PR decks and reports.
  • Strong media relationships with influential journalists and editors (independent of agency support).
  • Exceptional writing skills and ability to craft compelling narratives and executive messaging (independent of agency support).
  • Strategic thinker and hands-on executor; comfortable working in a lean, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in storytelling for media and award submissions and ability to influence stakeholders across international teams.
  • Ability to engage with senior leadership and communicate with executive presence.
  • Culturally agile and able to work across time zones.

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $107k$140k. Bonus and/or commission may also be available. Lenovo benefits are described at www.lenovobenefits.com.
