What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Prepare, distribute, revise, and finalize invoices for various contract types
• Ensure timely submission of monthly invoices to clients
• Collaborate with project staff to expedite bill approvals and finalizations
• Develop and maintain automated Excel invoices in client-specified formats
• Troubleshoot billing errors and reconcile discrepancies between billed and cost amounts

What is Required (Qualifications)

• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain clearance
• Associate's degree or equivalent in accounting or related field
• Minimum of 6 years of related experience
• At least 5 years of experience with government contracts
• 3+ years of billing experience and understanding of client invoicing processes

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Willingness to travel to offices up to 10% as needed
• 8+ years of experience in government contracting
• Familiarity with Costpoint
• Experience with federal billing systems and portals
