Sugar Bowl Resort is looking for a Security Agent to provide highly visible foot and vehicle patrols in guest areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and malicious behavior. The role protects guests, employees, and resort assets. Responsibilities include investigating and documenting crimes/incidents, preserving evidence, and providing legal testimony when necessary.

Who you are
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong verbal, writing, and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to assess and manage potential risk
- Strong desire to provide positive guest service
- Basic computer competency
- Strong work ethic; must be able to work with little to no direct supervision
- Must function well under pressure and in emergency situations
- Ability to pass criminal background check and have a safe driving record
- Ability to carry 50 pounds
- Reliable method of transportation
What you will do
- Patrol resort property to ensure the safety and security for guests, employees, and resort assets
- Provide building and grounds security; secure buildings and protect against theft, vandalism, and inappropriate behavior
- Enforce Sugar Bowl policies and procedures
- Notify law enforcement of illegal activity and aid with investigations
- Write and distribute detailed reports for all security incidents
- Use nonviolent intervention techniques to diplomatically confront people using disruptive, offensive, or inappropriate behavior, escorting them off property as necessary
- Transport homeowners, guests, and staff to various locations via snow cat, ranger vehicle, snowmobile, or standard vehicle
- Help other departments as needed
- Communicate via radio, cell phone, and email
- Shovel snow as necessary
- Provide assistance to the public
- Work in an alpine winter environment that includes snow and inclement weather
