House Manager | Travel Assistant - Truckee, CA

Compensation: $120,000+ per year DOE

Schedule: Some in-person in Truckee with flexibility for remote coordination

A returning client is seeking a House Manager | Travel Assistant to oversee household readiness and manage complex travel logistics for a busy UHNW family. The ideal candidate is local to the Truckee area and brings a calm, detail-oriented approach to managing both on-the-ground home operations and high-level travel coordination.
Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and prepare the Truckee residence ahead of family arrivals - including coordinating housekeeping, groceries, deliveries, and home readiness.
  • Manage household vendors and ensure the property is well-maintained and guest-ready at all times.
  • Coordinate all domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and itineraries.
  • Work closely with executive and estate teams to align personal and business calendars.
  • Anticipate needs and ensure every logistical detail is confirmed and communicated clearly.
  • Maintain professionalism, discretion, and consistent communication with principals and team members.
Ideal Candidate
  • Based in or near Truckee, CA (within 30 minutes).
  • 3-5+ years of experience in private service, preferably supporting UHNW families in a Personal Assistant, Travel Assistant, or House Manager.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experienced with vendor management and household operations.
  • Tech-savvy, proactive, and calm under pressure.
  • Able to work flexible hours and adjust to family travel schedules.
