Front Desk Specialist

Position Summary

The Front Desk Specialist is someone who presents as a experienced front desk professional who thrives on organization, teamwork, and community. Specialist have the knowledge and experience to go beyond their role of guest services staff position. With their knowledge they are able to schedule front desk staff, trains new team members, and help others maintain expertise in our admissions/membership database to support accuracy and efficiency.

Specialists Role

In addition to all Guest Services Associate duties, Specialists

  • Staff Scheduling: Create and adjust front desk schedules to ensure consistent coverage.
  • Training & Mentorship: Train and coach new staff on admissions, memberships, and customer service procedures.
  • Database Expertise: Serve as the go-to person for admissions/membership database use and troubleshooting.
  • Operational Anchor: Act as the point person for staff questions during shifts; ensure cash handling and ticketing accuracy.
  • Communication: Share updates, policy changes, and visitor feedback with the team.

Skills
  • Experienced customer service and excellence in front desk operations
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage a schedule and train peers.
  • Skilled with POS systems, databases, and Google Suite.
  • Friendly, reliable, and professional with good communication skills.
  • Positive team player
