Customer Service / Dept Leader

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain the Front?end department's environment and safety standards
  • Direct and supervise all day?to?day functions, duties and activities for the Front?end department
  • Execute best practices, goals and Front?end standards established for the department
  • Encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service under the Customer 1st strategy
  • Maintain inventory, pricing and promotions for the department
  • Monitor and control supply expenses, cash control and sales records
  • Prepare and maintain the department's budget and profit?and?loss reviews
  • Develop and implement a department business plan to achieve desired results
  • Schedule Front?end associates to provide adequate coverage
  • Administer safety programs, report incidents and ensure compliance with laws and guidelines

Qualifications
  • Effective communication skills
  • Basic math knowledge (counting, addition, subtraction)
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Retail or customer service experience
  • Knowledge and ability to respond to product questions and make suggestions
  • Experience with inventory management, pricing, and promotional activities
  • Understanding of safety regulations and procedures
  • Strong leadership, collaboration and coaching skills
  • Ability to manage cash control, sales and financial reports
  • Proficient with computer?assisted ordering and inventory systems
  • Compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
