Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Work Location: 13755 Stead Blvd. Reno, NV 89506

Pay rate: $29.96/hr on W2

What You'll Do: As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting various aspects of the HR function, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration. You will assist in implementing HR policies and procedures, providing support to employees and managers, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the HR department.

Functions: Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks. Support employee orientation and training activities, ensuring new hires are equipped with necessary information and resources. Assist in the administration of HR programs and initiatives, such as employee benefits, and employee recognition programs. Assist in support for employee inquiries and requests regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, providing guidance and assistance as needed. Maintain accurate employee records and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies. Assist in conducting employee relations activities, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Prepares and distributes HR related communications. Assist on special projects as needed, including support of ongoing continuous improvement framework; data audits; participate in safety and operations audits and initiatives. Proactively implement positive employee engagement strategies and initiatives to drive improvement in morale and retention.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration

1-5 years of experience in Human Resources. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

Basic understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Must be bilingual in Spanish and English

Preferred Skills: Knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Experience with HRIS implementation or administration. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

MBA or Masters of Human Resources
